turning 18. how do i feel. i feel old. not that i feel i'm mature, but just that i'm old. plain old. sad huh?
at the immigration, the officer reminded me to renew my ID card. oh freak it's my birthday today, and my dad thpught mine's on 28th LOL. i'm old enough to vote, top get married, to drink, to smoke and to drive. now i wonder which of the items mentioned above (apart from drinking) would i do in the near future.
getting lost at tokyo narita airport was a great start for an anxious 18-yo dude. i checked in with my bro, heck the lady coudln't speak english. so the conversation was breif and funny.
L:nan mei o kyaku sama deska? (how may HONOURABLE passengers are there?)
me: okyakusamawa nimei desu (2 HONOURABLE passengers)------ (i should have said "futari desu", meaning 2 people, which sounds a LOT more natural haha, but i was too determined to give her the perfect answer haha)
L: eto... (he is either a foreigner or a crazy japanese)
*type type type*
L: otenimotsu wa? ...hai dozo blahblahblah gozaimasu (any HONOURABLE baggages to be HONOURABLY checked?)
me: un hitotsu dake (one only, she might think that i'm rude, using this form of grammer)
*type type type*
L: blahblahblah .... o namae ...iforgottheexactsentence...gozaimasu.... o negaishimasu (please honourably check your honourble names, and make sure that your honourable names match with that of your honourable passport)
me: hai.... (what da heck, is she trying to be sacarstically polite??) kekkou desu, domo (i've checked the names, they're ok. thanks)
L: geito wa ei rokuzyu go desu, blahblahblah gozen kyuji nijyubbun to moushimasu, minami no wo tsukae onegaishimasu. (the gate is A65, i would like to, humbly, tell you that the boarding time is 9:20am, please honourably use the southern exits.)
me: hai. o tsugaresamadesita (*acknowledge* thank you for your honourable time and effort)
after 5 days, i'm sick of being so polite.
me and my bro got our own passports and boarding passes. we met up with the other ppl and went to browse thru the duty free shops. i went in to get instant films, and dad said that he's gonna wait outside. when i came out, he's gone. i can't find them anywhere, i wasn't scared or anything, i was just annoyed. then within 15 min, i gave up, i went thry the immigrations at the south wing myself, predicting that they've already gone thru that, and were prolly wating for me rite in there.
but i was wrong.
i went to the gate, waited for 30min; walked back to the immigration, and back again. i tried to page them, but the stupid counter said that it's against policy, and that it had to be done at the central controlroom, not at the gate. darn. i explained that to the tourguide, and he tried to help. he went all the way back to the immigration.
i was getting nervous, the baggages were already on the plane, even if i couldn't find them, i'll have to fly back to hongkong myelf and claim all of the baggages. getting home? hmm.. i got 23.7HKD, 5canadiandollars, 1000koreanwon and 35 yen. (added together, less than 7 USD) yeah, that could only take me to tungchung. then i was thinking how to call my friends or how to ask for help from my relatives, i was looking for the phone numbers when i had a glimpse of my sis.
woohoo. they were waiting for me at the northen exit. ARGH. dad was kinda angry, i can tell..... hmm.... anyway, i seriously think that it wasn't my fault.
docomo finally released the anticipated dual CCD camera phone by fujitsu. F504iS. with OLED back display.
